Who is Our Ideal Client?

After many years of immigration experience and client relationship, we have a pretty good idea of who will be successful with their immigration application. There are a number of common traits that we see in our successful clients and there are a number of things that people need to be aware of as there are traps that are out there that you may not even be aware of.

It is my intention to give you some advice and while this may sound a little “preachy” it is not meant to be, it is meant to be a realistic measure of some of the common traits that I have seen over the years.

You value professional advice. Clients who trust the “Proper” immigration professionals to do their job are often successful with their representative. Clients who do their due diligence are always great, but the work thrives on cooperation and teamwork between the client and service professional. I know that this sounds self serving but it isn’t meant to be. We all have our areas of expertise and I like to use some common examples to illustrate this. Actually, today (at the time I am writing) I was speaking to someone who was a nurse, I gave her an example that I use quite a bit and form her own field. I note to people that in this information age, everyone is an expert, and they may or may not know what they are doing.  I could surely get onto YouTube and learn how to stitch my own wound up but instead I choose to consult a professional as this is out of my area of expertise. She appreciated the fact that she had just gone through the Immigration Blueprint Challenge (Challenge Page) and was exposed to a ton of professional advice over the course of a week together that empowered her to make “proper” decisions.

You are results-driven. Clients who are passionate, ambitious, and want to see their plans put into action are extremely successful in their immigration goals. You want to put your dreams into action to get the results you want! At the end of the day, immigrating to Canada is a result. It will be a result of the passion, hard work, and dedication you put into the process. I can not impress this upon people more than what has been aid here but again using another example of another person that we were working with this week. She is a student here in Canada and we were looking at next steps and work on finalizing the next stages of her Immigration Blueprint. She knew that she needed a certain English score and that it would make all the difference in her being able to come to Canada. She stated in our zoom meeting together that she was going to put that up on her wall and focus on it as this is what is required. She knew the result and was driven to achieve it.

You are coachable. People who do their part in the process are awesome, but it is so important for immigration professionals to teach and coach you through the process. Although an immigration consultant may be representing you and your file, you should be eager to learn about the process along the way and listen to the advice that you have invested in. Anytime you seek out professional advice, whether it be healthcare, legal, financial and the list goes on, you place yourself in a vulnerable spot. In doing this, it can be very nerve wracking as you may not know if you are being lead astray or not. We all have this situation at some point in our lives and this is the reason that have written a Professional Primer of questions that you should ask your professional (Professional Primer). There are a number of factors that you will need to consider but you also need to consider yourself and if you are open & accepting to the advice that you are being given.

You listen to sound logic at a high level. We give the real deal about immigration. We provide valid, precise, and true advice and information, and our successful clients take this advice in the same manner. We are realistic and logical about the process, and we hope our clients take this approach as well. This is very interesting to me as there have been many people over the years who have sought paid consultations, have had their pathway mapped out and then gone on their way to do “other things”. It is not until a few years later that they have gone another way, it has not worked out and they have in some cases destroyed their chances of becoming a Permanent Resident (PR) in Canada It is truly heart-breaking and unfortunately in some cases I am not able to “fix” the damage that people have done to themselves especially when they had the answers in some cases years before.

You are a forward thinker and planner. Immigrating to Canada will only be successful if you have a solid plan in place. Planning for the future is the reason why most people chose Canada. Whether you are planning for your retirement years or for a safe and secure place for your children to grow and thrive in, Canada remains one of the top countries for immigration. Preparing for your immigration journey in advance alleviates a lot of stress and time. It is the core component of a successful application when it is time to submit your file. Our Answer to this is the Immigration Blueprint and a system that we have developed called the Immigration Success System™ (The System). The beginning phase of this is planning and the end result is the Immigration Blueprint which is your guide to execute on your plan at a very high level.

You have a high chance of success in the selected pathway. It is so important to be forward-thinking, coachable, and results-driven, but, if you are not successful in the process itself, you won’t be able to immigrate to Canada. You must be qualified under the stream applicable and highly qualified to be blunt. Successful clients are qualified clients. This all ties into the above with the planning of your application and being able to execute on the application and implement into your pathway. It is amazing to me that over the years people have gone down a pathway and spent literally years of their life not on a plan that they were never qualified for in the first place. If they had only taken the time to understand and also chose a route that had a high likelihood of success base don their chosen pathway this would have a very different outcome

Beyond these traits, our ideal clients also need to be qualified in their immigration pathways. We look for success through the qualifications and requirements under the applicable stream and apply it to our clients' unique scenario. I would like to shift gears and speak about some of the different types of people and their attributes so that you can have a better understanding of how best to maximize your success in gaining your Second Passport here in Canada.
